Proximity Operations About Apophis Through Its 2029 Earth Flyby

The dynamics and control of a satellite in proximity to the asteroid Apophis across its Earth close approach 2029 is evaluated investigated. First, feasibility carrying out operations about when heliocentric orbit phase shown be feasible. Then three different types motion relative are analyzed that will enable spacecraft take observations throughout approach. These maintaining somewhat distant from Apophis, hovering along Earth–Apophis line, or through flyby. Each these feasible, albeit challenging, some basic aspects noted discussed.
